IMPACT

Element Fuels is focused on creating a positive impact on the environment, the community, and the local and regional economies.

WORKING TOGETHER
FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

As a responsible corporate citizen, Element Fuels is working collaboratively with Brownsville and Rio Grande Valley (RGV) stakeholders, including residents, businesses, and communities, to ensure that our corporate goals align with local needs and priorities.

The Element Fuels facility will uplift the Brownsville community with hundreds of full-time jobs paying above market wages, thousands of indirect jobs, additional property tax revenue, and more. Additionally, electricity from Element Fuels’ combined-cycle power plant will be available to ERCOT to support the Port and the needs of the
surrounding communities.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

OUR COMMITMENT

Element Fuels is also working with local and Port officials to advance the Justice40 initiative established by the U.S. Department of Commerce and ensure the overall benefits of clean energy, affordable housing, and other investments flow into the Brownsville community. Our work will provide Brownsville and Rio Grande Valley area residents with clean energy and economic development by sponsoring apprenticeships and partnering with local institutions for educational training programs.

By incorporating local and regional needs into our decision-making processes and operations, we are building an environmentally sustainable and inclusive future for residents, while boosting economic vitality within the region and throughout the State of Texas for generations to come.
